Roshan Patel, CEO of Arrow, recently shared a Slack conversation on X where he advised an employee to take a day off. The employee’s response was, “My body is a vessel for the company,” indicating that they did not feel the need for a break.
Patel posted the screenshot of their exchange on X, where he had written, “Hey, I noticed you haven’t taken any time off recently. Just checking in and encouraging you to take a break if needed.”
The employee replied, “I don’t need a break, sir. My body is a vessel for the company to find product-market fit.”
Patel captioned the screenshot with, “Indian engineers are a different breed.”
