Khatabook Launches Pagarkhata App to Revolutionize Staff Management for MSMEs

Following the success of its digital bookkeeping and online store solutions, Khatabook, India’s leading fintech start-up, has unveiled its latest innovation—Pagarkhata App. Designed to streamline employee management for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), Pagarkhata facilitates the digital handling of tasks such as wage calculation, attendance tracking, payslips, and salary payments.

Pagarkhata, the company’s third digital solution for MSMEs, complements Khatabook’s flagship app for bookkeeping and the MyStore app for online retail. Featuring a user-friendly interface available in 13 languages, the app aims to simplify workforce management with a mobile-first approach. Currently available on Android with plans for an iOS release, Pagarkhata integrates seamlessly with Khatabook’s financial management system, enhancing its value proposition.

Ravish Naresh, CEO and Co-founder of Khatabook, commented, “Pagarkhata is a significant advancement in our mission to digitize Bharat’s MSMEs. While employee management platforms have traditionally served larger corporations, small businesses like Kirana stores and salons also need efficient digital solutions. Pagarkhata addresses these needs with its intuitive design and mobile-focused approach.”

The app is expected to streamline staff management, reduce errors, and accelerate payment cycles, ultimately enhancing productivity for MSMEs. By bringing structure to daily operations, Pagarkhata is set to transform workforce management in India’s MSME sector.
