Hyderabad-based startup GTM Buddy, led by serial entrepreneur Sreedhar Peddineni, has secured $2 million in seed funding. The capital will be allocated to enhance the platform’s product capabilities and expand the team across sales, marketing, and customer success functions.
About GTM Buddy
Founded in 2020 by Sreedhar Peddineni, Chandramani Tiwary, Santa Thounaojam, and Sundar Vellaichamy, GTM Buddy is a Sales-tech SaaS platform designed to boost sales efficiency. The platform leverages a contextual AI engine to streamline sales enablement by delivering the most relevant information and messages to prospective buyers. This technology pre-processes and auto-indexes sales content, ensuring that sellers have immediate access to the most pertinent data.

Sreedhar Peddineni, Co-Founder & CEO, explained, “In today’s market, sales is increasingly knowledge-driven. Buyers expect sellers to be well-versed in various aspects such as domain knowledge, product details, and competition. GTM Buddy harnesses the latest advancements in technology and AI to provide sellers with the right information at the right time, integrated seamlessly into the tools they use daily.”

Seed Funding Round
On September 14, 2021, GTM Buddy raised $2 million in a seed funding round led by Stellaris Venture Partners. This round also saw participation from angel investors including Girish Mathrubootham, Nick Mehta, Ashish Gupta, Aneesh Reddy, Khadim Batti, and Dilip Khandelwal. The funds will be used to advance the platform’s features and expand its team.
Alok Goyal, Partner at Stellaris Venture Partners, noted, “Despite technological advances, current sales enablement solutions often fall short, functioning merely as user interfaces over traditional folder structures. GTM Buddy, with its innovative approach, is poised to disrupt the sales enablement landscape. With Sreedhar Peddineni’s leadership, we believe the platform will significantly impact the field.”
Before founding GTM Buddy, Peddineni co-founded Host Analytics, a SaaS platform for financial planning and analysis, which was acquired by Vector Capital. He also co-founded Gainsight, a customer success platform, which was acquired by Vista Equity Partners in 2020.
