On the release day of Vedaa, Sharvari Wagh sought blessings at Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple. Accompanied by her parents, Sharvari looked radiant in a mustard floral suit, accessorized with large earrings and a ponytail. The actress posed for the paparazzi outside the temple, celebrating her latest film.
Directed by Nikhil Advani, Vedaa features Sharvari alongside John Abraham. The film, which also stars Tamannaah Bhatia, Abhishek Banerjee, Ashish Vidyarthi, and Kshitij Chauhan, delves into casteism issues. John Abraham plays an ex-soldier from the Gorkha Regiment, court-martialed for defying orders in a mission in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, while Sharvari stars as Vedaa, a Dalit girl confronting societal oppression.
This year has been notable for Sharvari, with previous releases including Munjya and Maharaj. Munjya, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, was released in June, featuring Abhay Verma and Mona Singh. Maharaj, an OTT film released on Netflix, received positive reviews and stars Sharvari alongside Junaid Khan, Shalini Pandey, and Jaideep Ahlawat.
