Ola Cabs, founded by IIT Bombay graduates Bhavish Aggarwal and Ankit Bhati, has emerged as India’s leading mobility service provider. Offering services across 50 cities in India, Ola has also expanded internationally to countries like the UK, Australia, and New Zealand.

The idea for Ola, a taxi aggregator startup, was born from Bhavish’s terrible experience while traveling from Bengaluru to Bandipur. The taxi driver abandoned him in the middle of nowhere over a failed deal, inspiring Bhavish to create a reliable and customer-focused cab service. Today, Ola Cabs stands as a prominent example of Indian startup success.
