Darwinbox Unveils 1,000-Seat Global Headquarters in Hyderabad, Accelerates International Growth
Darwinbox, the rapidly expanding HR tech platform from Asia, has inaugurated its new Global Headquarters in Hyderabad. The state-of-the-art facility, spanning 75,000 square feet and accommodating 1,000 seats, is set to enhance the company’s global business growth and strengthen its talent acquisition strategies.
The new headquarters will not only support Darwinbox’s international expansion but also foster creativity and collaboration among its 1,200+ employees across India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the United States.
Rohit Chennamaneni, Co-founder of Darwinbox, highlighted the significance of Hyderabad in the company’s journey. “Since our inception, Hyderabad has been a pivotal location for us. The new Global HQ represents a major milestone in our growth trajectory, aligning with our vision of ‘from Asia to the world’ and supporting our ambitious goal to double our business by 2023,” he said.
Chennamaneni also noted the company’s rapid expansion, with a fourfold increase in team size outside of India over the past two years. “This year, we plan to triple our team in these regions by adding over 100 new employees. We are on track to lead the market, particularly in our current regions, and are exploring new geographies. Our product roadmap is advancing with cutting-edge developments in Artificial Intelligence, conversational interfaces, and other emerging technologies,” he added.
Darwinbox currently serves 700 clients and 2 million users, including major conglomerates and global brands such as JSW, Adani, Vedanta, Mahindra, Kotak, NSE, Ujjivan, MakeMyTrip, Swiggy, Nivea, Starbucks, and Domino’s.
In January 2022, Darwinbox secured Series D Unicorn funding led by Silicon Valley-based TCV, with support from previous investors. The company is the only Asian-origin HCM player to be included in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant, and it features in the 2022 Magic Quadrant as well. It also holds a top rating of 4.8 on Gartner’s Peer Insights, surpassing major competitors like SAP, Oracle, and Workday.
